OUR MISSION: Education Center School provides a structured and personalized instructional program for the exceptional student. By helping the students function at their highest levels of achievement and working through their strengths while correcting their deficiencies, we are able to encourage emotional well-being, and promote the development of character, citizenship and universal values.

As professional educators and staff members, we believe that Education Center School has a major role in the community to develop students who will become productive members of society. It is our intention to provide a special, personalized instruction program for the exceptional student. Special attention is given to an individualized curriculum and small classes for each student.

Included in our school principles and concepts is the idea that we are helping the child develop maximum potential by working through his / her strengths while correcting his / her deficiencies.

Because the system of educating children is changing and the focus is on the process of learning, how to learn, and how to decide what to learn, we have become involved in the process of humanizing learning. By encouraging the students to live fully for today, we are preparing them for living tomorrow.

Our students are taught techniques of study skills, to think, to listen, to organize, to become independent, and to seek career objectives.  The importance of emotional health is realized in this type of program, and attention is given to adjustment and personal growth through individual counseling.

Our greatest expectations are for students who previously experienced long-standing school failures and frustrations to be able to function at maximum levels our learning environment replaces failure with success, and unworthiness and doubt with personal worth and security.
